Costa Rica Mission Trip March 2009 - NCC Team
We are getting ready to leave on a Short Term trip March 28th to serve alongside our partners at CCA in Alajuelita, Costa Rica! God has brought together an awesome team. Please pray for us as we prepare and while we are there! We will be updating this blog regularly, so please check back often! This is a picture of the team on the last night.

NCA/NCC Dominican Republic Team
Our flights were all delayed, but we made all the connections. We were met at the capitol city and picked up by staff from COTN. A 4 hour bus ride brought a tired bunch of NCA/NCC staff to the COTN compound. God is so good! We are so blessed and so taken care of. We have visited 5 villages and COTN schools in the last two days! Our mission is clear, and God is changing our plans. The 37,000 meals will not arrive until July 15th, but again, we know why God has brought us here! We will be teaching in one of the villages: recycling, hygiene and taking care of the environment. We will be cleaning up the village (with a multitude of the young people helping us - the villages - to give you an idea, look like the slums) We will plant flowers, and trees. Kari and Eudis will be meeting with the young men whose dreams are to be baseball players (baseball is their ONLY dream and hope). Mike will be teaching on leadership - sharing and challenging the youth to be men of God and leaders in their community. Mike and Tom will be doing handymen projects for a few days (there is so much to do---they don't even have screw drivers here.) Holly and I will be working in the medical clinic for few days. A team of Dr.s and Dentists are arriving from the US today. We have spent time playing with the kids. They can hardly wait to grab our hands and hug us and get filled with the love of the Lord! We are touched, changed and can't wait to continue to be used by the Lord. We covet your prayer! Pray for our safety! Pray for us to be an impact to the wonderful people here. We met a couple of the school principals. We showed them pictures of our students and what they did. They were so thankful and so touched at the 37,000 meals that will come to feed their students! We are full of tears of joy and thankful for God's goodness and his mercy and love. FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS...! Lots of love to all of you! Esther and the team

Albania Mission Trip May 2009
Imagine what it would be like to be among 110 men from Albania, Kosovo, and Macedonia who have gathered for the next four days, May 5-8th, to hear God's heart for them and their place and purpose in His Great Story. They represent pastors, missionaries and lay people from various ministries and denominations. Many different parts of the body of Christ are represented, but they have one heart in common...a heart to worship God and hear His heart for each of them...Please pray that our Lord meets each man in a powerful, and deeply personal way, and that their lives are profoundly impacted by the King of Hearts for the restoration of each man, his family, and in his sphere of influence in the world around him...Thank you in advance for the part you will play in this through your powerful prayers of intercession. Amen!
