Matthew 28:19
Therefore go, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit
Worldwide ministry is part of our lifeblood here at Northshore Christian Church (NCC). (Check out the Interactive World Map) Under the leadership of Pastor Dave Grant and Elder Larry Chapman, the eldership made a commitment in 2003 to “tithe” NCC’s resources to outreach ministries. The Lord has abundantly blessed that decision.
Going outside our walls has been a part of the vision from its beginning in 1991. One of our founding elders, Keith Getty, handed off the missions responsibility to Dave Grant in 1993. In 2001, then Missions pastor, Mike Zachman, formed volunteers with a heart for missions into the Missions Team. Since then, Missions has continued to grow both inside and outside the walls of the church.
Our missions outreach is both domestic and foreign. (See Missions Partners) Foreign missions has evolved over the years from sending to equipping.
Our goal is to continue becoming a missional church where it is a part of the “DNA” of the church body to reach beyond the walls and minister to all peoples; where each individual is involved in some way with reaching the lost through prayer, encouragement, giving, going, and/or serving.
We strive to partner with ministries that:
-
evangelize, disciple, church plant, and aid in growth and development
-
focus on holistic outreach to their communities in a multitude of tangible and life-changing ways, demonstrating the love of Jesus Christ.
